African Burial Ground

An excerpt from a 25 minute documentary film detailing the discovery and community impact of the African Burial Ground. Re-discovered in downtown New York City in 1991, the cemetery site contains the remains of thousands of African slaves. The film screens regularly at the African Burial Ground National Monument, located directly at the site. More information available here. Press.
